Is my group "community" or "commercial"?
Community groups are run on a not-for-profit basis. Men's sheds, AA meetings, parkruns, faith groups, hobby clubs run by volunteers — all community. Commercial groups charge regular fees, are run as a business, or are part of a chain. Private gyms, paid coaching, paid retreats — commercial. We auto-classify on the listing; if you think we got it wrong, tell us when you claim.
Does community really mean free forever?
Yes. We won't push community groups onto paid tiers. If your group is genuinely community-run we'll keep your listing free. The only paid options exist for commercial groups who want to reach more men.
What does "Promoted" actually do?
Your listing appears above standard search results in the categories and locations you choose (up to 3 categories, 5 locations on the Promoted tier). It's not pay-to-rank-everywhere — it's targeted commercial reach to men actively searching in your space.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your org dashboard. No fees, no lock-in. Cancel anytime.
